3/4 cup of Grits
3 tablespoons margarine
1 teaspoon salt
2 eggs to taste black pepper
3 sausages
2 cups of water
Step
20 minutes Cook Grits is like cooking rice, just stirring it just like porridge.
Can also be cooked using a pan.
Next I cook using a rice cooker.
Cook Grits with 2 cups of water in a rice cooker.
After the steam comes out of the rice cooker, open the lid and stir, cover and cook again.
Stirring so that the Grits don't stick under the pan, because these Grits are easily sticky.
Keep checking the Grits and stirring (so I keep the lid open the rice cooker, if you use a saucepan it might be easier huh).
If it is thick (but still a little runny), keep stirring and add salt .. stir again ... (be careful when you pop up very hot, so prepare a "shield", but still have to stir).
Close the rice cooker again and cook for a while ... If the texture is thick and like porridge, turn off the rice cooker and add butter and stir. Transfer to a serving plate.
During the cooking process of Grits, I fry with a sausage that is cut into 4 parts. Also makes scrambled egg.
Scrambled egg: beat 2 eggs, add salt and black pepper ... fry while scrambled.
So, all you have to do is add sausages and eggs to the plate. Practical and fast. Start the day with a good breakfast .. perfect ..
